Comparison of the effectiveness between c-mac d-blade and glidescope for tracheal intubation in patients with cervical spine immobilisation simulated by a semi-rigid collar [PDF]
Objective: Among the technique for cervical spine immobilisation is putting on semi-rigid collar but it renders difficult tracheal intubation. In this study, our aim is to compare the effectiveness of two available videolaryngoscopes meant for difficult ...

Cerebral Hemodynamic Changes During Cardiac Surgery: A Feasibility MR Study in Piglets
Congenital heart disease surgery in infants requires cardiopulmonary bypass (CPB), which increases the risk of brain injury. Conventional heart‐lung machines (HLMs) cannot operate inside MRI scanners, limiting real‐time assessment of cerebral changes. We developed an MR‐conditional HLM and tested it in piglets during CPB.

Integumentary fibrosarcoma in a free‐living swan (Cygnus olor): Medical and welfare considerations
Abstract A 10‐kg adult male mute swan (Cygnus olor) of unknown age was admitted for investigations of two large ventral masses overlying the keel bone, which were discharging purulent material. The masses measured 8.9 × 2.1 cm and 4.2 × 3.2 cm. Empirical treatment with non‐steroidal anti‐inflammatory drugs and antimicrobials was instigated.
