Magnetic field tracking with MCNP5
Radiation Protection Dosimetry, 2005With the introduction of continuous-energy heavy charged particle transport in MCNP5, the need for tracking charged particles in a magnetic field becomes increasingly important. Two methods for including magnetic field effects on charged particles are included in the proton transport version of the code.

Active matched-field tracking.
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1996The principal task of a sonar system is to generate possible tracks of an acoustic source. Matched-field tracking [Bucker, J. Acoust. Soc. Am. 96, 3809–3811 (1994)] is a signal processing algorithm for this purpose that has minimum operator input.

Polymers in the Field and Track
Journal of Chemical Education, 2008About a year ago, trucks delivered ton after ton of polymers to my school. No, our chemical order had not gone awry. Instead, the materials were part of a large construction project on campus the athletic field. The old, grass athletic field was going to be replaced with artificial turf; the track that surrounded it was being replaced as well as ...

Physique and performance for track and field events
Journal of Sports Sciences, 2007Evidence of the importance of physique in the athletics disciplines is supported by the persistence of certain characteristics over long periods, despite marked secular changes in the source population. These characteristics may also result in physiological benefits such as effective thermoregulation or a greater power-to-weight ratio.

Tracking of nonstationarities for texture fields
Signal Processing, 1988Abstract We consider the problem of texture segmentation as one of tracking nonstationarities for 2-D signals. The underlying signal representation is the Wigner distribution. It is a co-joint representation of space/spatial-frequency and it enjoys both high locality and resolution.

Runners, jumpers and throwers: embodied gender hierarchies in track and field
Sport, Education and Society, 2018There is currently considerable sociological research on women’s experiences in sport, the social construction of gender in women’s sport and inequalities between women and men. However, research is yet to examine how inequalities and gender construction

From Track and field to e-Track and field
2012While searching for the improved communication between and with students, as well as for the improved lecture quality of Track and field course, the pilot project designed to implement sports contents into the e-learning system, Merlin, was designed with the support of e- learning Center SRCE employees.
