Traffic infrastructure in the development of the croatian traffic system
The absence of a long-term traffic policy and of the policy of financing the construction and maintenance of traffic infrastructure facilities, represents a synthesis of numerous unresolved relations whose negative effects are felt in the overall economic and traffic development and consequently the evaluation of national potentials in the field ...

CD9‐association with PIP2 areas is regulated by a CD9 salt bridge
The tetraspanin CD9 has an intracellular salt bridge. If CD9 opens, open‐CD9 moves from PIP2‐rich areas to regions populated by its interaction partner EWI‐2. Hence, the state of the salt bridge regulates the distribution of CD9 and by this CD9‐EWI‐2 complex formation.

A new cellular automata model for city traffic [PDF]
We present a new cellular automata model of vehicular traffic in cities by combining ideas borrowed from the Biham-Middleton-Levine (BML) model of city traffic and the Nagel-Schreckenberg (NaSch) model of highway traffic.

ABSTRACT C‐truncating variants in the charged multivesicular body protein 2B (CHMP2B) gene are a rare cause of frontotemporal lobar degeneration (FTLD), previously identified only in Denmark, Belgium, and China. We report a novel CHMP2B splice‐site variant (c.35‐1G>A) associated with familial FTLD in Spain. The cases were two monozygotic male twins who

ABSTRACT Background Sphingosine‐1‐phosphate receptor modulators (S1PRM) are used to treat relapsing multiple sclerosis (MS). Each drug has a different S1PR‐subtype selectivity. They target the G‐protein coupled S1P receptors and exert significant immunomodulatory effects, such as preventing the formation of new CNS lesions and the reactivation of pre ...

APPLICATION OF FUZZY LOGIC TO TRAFFIC SIGNAL CONTROL UNDER MIXED TRAFFIC CONDITIONS [PDF]
Traffic signal control is commonly used at road intersections to minimise vehicular delay. Fixed time control shows good results in conditions where there is a little fluctuation in traffic demand, however in time-varying traffic
