Realistic Traffic Generation for Web Robots

open access: yes, 2017
Critical to evaluating the capacity, scalability, and availability of web systems are realistic web traffic generators. Web traffic generation is a classic research problem, no generator accounts for the characteristics of web robots or crawlers that are

B cell mechanobiology in health and disease: emerging techniques and insights into therapeutic responses

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
B cells sense external mechanical forces and convert them into biochemical signals through mechanotransduction. Understanding how malignant B cells respond to physical stimuli represents a groundbreaking area of research. This review examines the key mechano‐related molecules and pathways in B lymphocytes, highlights the most relevant techniques to ...

Modelling Effects of Land Use Changes on Traffic Based on Proposed Traffic Simulator [PDF]

open access: yesComputational Engineering and Physical Modeling, 2019
In this paper, a traffic simulator is designed in order to investigate the travel demand based on GIS data and analysis. In order to evaluate the proposed simulator, four different scenarios are provided for the arrangement of land use services. In first

Estimation of Traffic Matrices for LRD Traffic

open access: yes, 2012
The estimation of traffic matrices in a communications network on the basis of a set of traffic measurements on the network links is a well-known problem, for which a number of solutions have been proposed when the traffic does not show dependence over time, as in the case of the Poisson process.

Traffic simulation for mixed traffic systems

open access: yesGlobal Journal of Pure and Applied Sciences, 2013
Traffic problem is classified into single and mixed, especially in most  developing countries, where motorbikes are used as the most popular transportation system. The aim of this paper is to introduce the motorbike symbol into the traffic light control system to separate cars/lorries indicator from that of motorbike.

The thioredoxin‐like and one glutaredoxin domain are required to rescue the iron‐starvation phenotype of HeLa GLRX3 knock out cells

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Glutaredoxin (Grx) 3 proteins contain a thioredoxin domain and one to three class II Grx domains. These proteins play a crucial role in iron homeostasis in eukaryotic cells. In human Grx3, at least one of the two Grx domains, together with the thioredoxin domain, is essential for its function in iron metabolism.

Rewriting the dendritic cell code in cancer—from subset identity to immunotherapeutic design

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Dendritic cells (DCs) play central roles in cancer immunity but are often subverted by the tumor microenvironment. This review explores the diversity of DC subsets, their functional plasticity, and emerging therapeutic strategies to reprogram DCs for enhanced antitumor responses, including vaccines, in vivo targeting, and DC‐based immunotherapies ...
