Antiemesis Corticosteroids Potentiate Checkpoint Blockade Efficacy by Normalizing the Immune Microenvironment in Metastatic Murine Breast Cancer

open access: yesAdvanced Science, EarlyView.
Corticosteroids improve the efficacy of immune checkpoint blockade therapy in metastatic murine breast cancer. By normalizing the tumor immune microenvironment, corticosteroids reduce immunosuppressive signals, restore T‐cell function, and promote antitumor immune responses, resulting in enhanced tumor control.

Traffic Congestion Control

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1990
Abstract This survey paper presents the various urban traffic control strategies which have been proposed or applied to prevent and treat congestion. Some basic definitions about congestion, such as primary and secondary congestion, are remembered. Freeway control during congested situations is examined; the access control and exits control problems ...

Traffic Equilibrium with Responsive Traffic Control

Transportation Science, 1993
This paper presents a theory of traffic equilibrium which involves responsive signal control policies; in this theory drivers' route choices and the control policy's choice of green times are treated in a symmetrical manner. The central theme of the paper is the iterative optimization assignment algorithm.

Traffic Control

Journal for Nurses in Professional Development, 2013
Educating nurses on the multitude of new and updated best practices, changes in regulatory standards, new equipment, and enhanced technology creates an "information traffic jam." Multiple practice changes occurring simultaneously pose challenges for nurses to retain information to practice safely and effectively.

Controlled Traffic Farming

2009
The cycle of traffic-induced soil compaction and tillage is a major inefficiency of current mechanised agriculture, where random field traffic wastes energy, damages soil structure and imposes other negative consequences. Controlled traffic farming (CTF) restricts compaction to precise traffic lanes, where it improves wheel performance, allowing ...

Traffic Control Through Traffic Density

2019 3rd European Conference on Electrical Engineering and Computer Science (EECS), 2019
The article is focused on dynamic driving in road transport. Current systems on the market are referred to as dynamic but have their limitations. Traffic management is an important aspect to ensure the proper functioning and safety of transport as an element of critical infrastructure.

DISTRIBUTED TRAFFIC CONTROL SYSTEM

IFAC Proceedings Volumes, 1983
Abstract The newly developed distributed train traffic control system adopting micro-computers is introduced, in contrast to the conventional system, which integrates signal control distributed at stations into the operation dispatching center using remote-control apparatus.
