Managing NFV using SDN and control theory [PDF]
Control theory and SDN (Software Defined Networking) are key components for NFV (Network Function Virtualization) deployment. However little has been done to use a control-theoretic approach for SDN and NFV management.

A Kalman filtering approach to traffic flow estimation in computer networks
Abstract In this paper, data-based estimation of traffic flows in computer networks is dealt with. The knowledge of the traffic matrix, containing the values of flows among the nodes in a computer network, could be very useful in many aspects of network management, like capacity planning, traffic load distribution and anomaly detection.

Traffic Flow Prediction Model for Large‐Scale Road Network Based on Cloud Computing [PDF]
To increase the efficiency and precision of large‐scale road network traffic flow prediction, a genetic algorithm‐support vector machine (GA‐SVM) model based on cloud computing is proposed in this paper, which is based on the analysis of the characteristics and defects of genetic algorithm and support vector machine.

On the LRD of the Aggregated Traffic Flows in High-Speed Computer Networks
This paper studies and analyses the behavior of the Long-Range Dependence in network traffic after classifying traffic flows in aggregated time series. Following Differentiated Services architecture principles, the generic Quality of Service applications that requirements and use the transport control protocol, a basic classification criterion of time ...

Outsmarting Network Security with SDN Teleportation
Software-defined networking is considered a promising new paradigm, enabling more reliable and formally verifiable communication networks. However, this paper shows that the separation of the control plane from the data plane, which lies at the heart of ...

Loss of the miR‐214/199a cluster is associated with recurrence in ovarian cancer. Engineered small extracellular vesicles (m214‐sEVs) elevate miR‐214‐3p/miR‐199a‐5p in tumor cells, suppress β‐catenin, TLR4, and YKT6 signaling, reprogram tumor‐derived sEV cargo, reduce chemoresistance and migration, and enhance carboplatin efficacy and survival in ...
