Traffic Noise Prediction Model for Mohammed Al-Qassim Freeway in Baghdad Environment
Noise is one of the environmental pollutants that is encountered in daily life. While the rapid increase in the number of vehicles in Iraq, the noise and air pollution rates are increased. In the present study, a freeway traffic noise prediction model

Ubiquilin (UBQLN), like many other human proteins, contains both well‐folded and disordered regions. Here, we show that intramolecular interactions between disordered regions and folded domains modulate between open and closed topologies of UBQLN proteins, altering their structure and function.

This study presents a surfaceome‐reprogramming strategy for mutation‐independent lung cancer therapy by repurposing dexamethasone to prime mesenchymal stem cell‐derived nanovesicles. The engineered vesicles leverage multi‐valent interactions mediated by upregulated adhesion proteins, EPHA2, and NOTCH3.

Nanomaterials offer dual applications in allergy management. For diagnosis, nanomaterials enhance analytical sensitivity and improve detection in specific IgE and functional assays such as the basophil activation test (BAT). For allergen‐specific immunotherapy, nanomaterials enable allergen masking and controlled release, and effectively modulate the ...

This work designs a peptide‐free polyelectrolyte with stable, switchable conformations and near‐infrared fluorescence in water. It harnesses a cooperative Fe3+‐triggered sheet‐to‐helix transition to generate nonlinear fluorescence quenching, enabling the ultrasensitive, real‐time visualization of Fe3+ ion distribution and metabolic trafficking at ...

Quasi-experimental evidence on the effect of traffic externalities on housing prices [PDF]
This paper studies the effects on house prices of traffic nuisance on local streets. As source of exogenous variation in traffic nuisance we use the opening of a new state highway N14 in the Netherlands.
