In this work, low‐resolution infrared imaging is combined with a 28 nm FeFET IMC architecture to enable compact, energy‐efficient edge inference. MLC FeFET devices are experimentally characterized, and controlled multi‐level current accumulation is validated at crossbar array level.

Swedish farmers' approval of nudges
Abstract Interest in the use of behavioral policy approaches, such as nudges, has strongly increased over the past years, including in the domains of food, agricultural and environmental policies. While the approval of nudges among the general public has been studied extensively, we know little about the attitude of farmers toward nudging. Farmers may (

Traffic prediction for dynamic traffic engineering
Computer Networks, 2015Traffic engineering with traffic prediction is a promising approach to accommodate time-varying traffic without frequent route changes. In this approach, the routes are decided so as to avoid congestion on the basis of the predicted traffic. However, if the range of variation including temporal traffic changes within the next control interval is not ...

A predictability analysis of network traffic
Computer Networks, 2002Abstract This paper assesses the predictability of network traffic by considering two metrics: (1) how far into the future a traffic rate process can be predicted with bounded error; (2) what the minimum prediction error is over a specified prediction time interval.

Traffic prediction for dynamic traffic engineering considering traffic variation
2013 IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM), 2013Traffic engineering with traffic prediction is one approach to accommodate time-varying traffic without frequent route changes. In this approach, the routes are calculated so as to avoid congestion based on the predicted traffic. The accuracy of the traffic prediction however has large impacts on this approach.

Network Traffic Prediction by Traffic Decomposition
2012 Fifth International Conference on Intelligent Networks and Intelligent Systems, 2012For the complicated characteristic of network traffic, a prediction algorithm based on traffic decomposition is introduced in this paper. The complex correlation structure of the network history traffic is decomposed according to different protocols and then predicted with wavelet method separately.

A Heterogenous System for Traffic Prediction
2020 19th RoEduNet Conference: Networking in Education and Research (RoEduNet), 2020Recent developments in the field of Machine Learning have resulted in great progress, both academically and commercially, in various applications. The success of these applications comes from being able to either predict or categorize series or elements that, before, could not be analyzed using classical statistical methods, thus solving complex, real ...

Machine Learning for Traffic Prediction
Fundamenta Informaticae, 2012Recently, GPS car navigation became popular enough for a significant number of drivers in any large city to be able to potentially send their current GPS positions and velocities to a central traffic-managing server in real time. This data could be used to reconstruct a map of current traffic in the whole city and make predictions for the future, which

Online traffic prediction in the cloud
International Journal of Network Management, 2016SummaryNetwork traffic prediction is a fundamental tool to harness several management tasks, such as monitoring and managing network traffic. Online traffic prediction is usually performed based on large sets of historical data used in training algorithms, for example, to determine the size of static windows to bound the amount of traffic under ...
