Respiratory Organ‐on‐a‐Chip for Disease Modeling: From Architecture to Functional Integration
Respiratory organ‐on‐a‐chip (ROC) models capture key mechanical and cellular cues of the human respiratory system, enabling quantitative dissection of disease mechanisms. This review links ROC architectures to disease modeling, functional integration, and commercialization, and proposes a decision framework that aligns model complexity with mechanistic

For driving the roads of cities into enjoyable and relaxing places with parks, trees, and seating, a paradigm change in everyone’s commuter behavior is needed. Still, individual transport via cars increases, and thus, the space required for parking and driving these cars shapes our cities — not the people.

Research on the Method of Traffic Organization and Optimization Based on Dynamic Traffic Flow Model
The modern transportation system is becoming sluggish by traffic jams, so much so that it can harm the economic and society in our country. One of the reasons is the surging vehicles day by day.

Particle filter state estimator for large urban networks [PDF]
This paper applies a particle filter (PF) state estimator to urban traffic networks. The traffic network consists of signalized intersections, the roads that link these intersections, and sensors that detect the passage time of vehicles.

Demo: CiThruS Traffic Scene Simulator
This paper describes the main features of our open-source CiThruS simulation environment and a demonstration setup for it. This lightweight simulator is designed for 360-degree traffic imaging at arbitrary positions in the city. It is built with Unity using the open Windridge City Asset, which we populated with autonomous vehicles and pedestrians.

Ferroelectric Quantum Dots for Retinomorphic In‐Sensor Computing
This work has provided a protocol for fabricating retinomorphic phototransistors by integrating ferroelectric ligands with quantum dots. The resulting device combines ferroelectricity, optical responsiveness, and low‐power operation to enable adaptive signal amplification and high recognition accuracy under low‐light conditions, while supporting ...

An acceleration simulation method for power law priority traffic [PDF]
A method for accelerated simulation for simulated self-similar processes is proposed. This technique simplifies the simulation model and improves the efficiency by using excess packets instead of packet-by-packet source traffic for a FIFO and non-FIFO ...
