Effect of front and back squat techniques on peak loads experienced by the Achilles tendon [PDF]
Background A primary technique in the discipline of strength and conditioning the squat has two principal ‘back and front’ variants. Despite the physiological and strength benefits of the squat, the propensity for musculoskeletal injury is high.

Resistance training volume load with and without exercise displacement [PDF]
Monitoring the resistance training volume load (VL) (sets × reps × load) is essential to managing resistance training and the recovery⁻adaptation process. Eight trained weightlifters, seven of which were at national level, participated in the study.

A comparison between a traditionally periodised programme and a load autoregulated periodised programme for maximal strength gain in the squat, bench press, and deadlift in weight-trained males : a thesis presented in partial fulfilment of the requirements for the degree of Master of Science in Exercise and Sport Science at Massey University, Manawatū, New Zealand [PDF]
Background: Training towards the goal of improving maximal strength is commonly undertaken; particularly by athletes involved in contact sports, powerlifters, and recreational body builders.

Single circulating tumor cells (sCTCs) from high‐grade serous ovarian cancer patients were enriched, imaged, and genomically profiled using WGA and NGS at different time points during treatment. sCTCs revealed enrichment of alterations in Chromosomes 2, 7, and 12 as well as persistent or emerging oncogenic CNAs, supporting sCTC identity.
