Traj-Cloud: A Trajectory Cloud for enabling Efficient Mobility Services

2019 11th International Conference on Communication Systems & Networks (COMSNETS), 2019
The advances of location-acquisition technologies and rapid development of GPS equipped devices have generated large spatio-temporal mobility traces fostering the opportunity of discovering inherent knowledge about urban dynamics. This mobility analytics of the movement behaviours of people and vehicles is the key component of building any intelligent ...

CEP-traj: An event-based solution to process trajectory data

Information Systems, 2015
In this day and age, there exists an increasing need for systems and architectures able to process spatio-temporal data in a timely way. As a result, this paper presents CEP-traj, a novel middleware to ease the development of real-time trajectory-based services based on the Complex Event Processing (CEP) paradigm.

Synthesis of F-pilin polypeptide in the absence of F traJ product

Plasmid, 1984
The products of a lambda transducing phage (ED lambda 101) which carries a segment of the F tra operon expressing F traA , traL , and traE activity from the lambda leftward promoter were examined using a uv-irradiated host system. After infection of an F- host, products of traE (19,500 Da) and traA (14,000 Da) were detectable among the lambda early ...

Expression of F plasmid trat: Independence of tray → z promoter and traJ control

Plasmid, 1986
We have shown, using an F-derived Tra+ cosmid in conjunction with the infected-cell translational system and a time-course study, that one of the surface exclusion genes, traT, can be expressed independently of the promoter of the traY----Z operon, PYZ, and in the absence of a normal quantity of traJ gene product.

Transcript analysis of the plasmid R100 traJ and finP genes

Molecular and General Genetics MGG, 1987
Single-stranded RNA probes were used to study the regulation of plasmid transfer in the infectious antibiotic resistance plasmid R100. Transcription of the positive transfer control gene traJ of R100 appears to be initiated continuously. In the presence of finO, the traJ transcript is 235 bases long, and in the absence of finO it is 1050.

Traj Align: A Method for Precise Matching of 3-D Trajectories

2010 20th International Conference on Pattern Recognition, 2010
Matching two 3-D trajectories is an important task in a number of applications. The trajectory matching problem can be solved by aligning the two trajectories and taking the alignment score as their similarity measurement. In this paper, we propose a new method called "TrajAlign" (Trajectory Alignment).

Regulation of R100 conjugation requires traM in cis to traJ

Molecular Microbiology, 1994
SummaryDeletion mutants of R100‐1 were constructed by classical methods to remove various segments of the traM open reading frame, pTraM‐binding sites and the traM promoters. Complementation tests showed that traM was efficiently complemented only when the frans‐acting fragment contained both the complete traM gene and the adjacent traJ promoter and ...

Promoter mapping and DNA sequencing of the F plasmid transfer genes traM and traJ

Molecular and General Genetics MGG, 1982
The nucleotide sequence of the DNA encoding the traM, finP and the promoter proximal segment of the traJ gene of the F plasmid has been determined. The predicted amino acid sequence for the traM protein shows that this inner membrane protein contains no signal sequence.

Mechanisms that diversify an otherwise intrinsically processive Trav-Traj recombination program

The Journal of Immunology, 2017
Abstract In DP thymocytes, the Tcra locus undergoes multiple rounds of V-J rearrangement in order to generate a functional TCRα chain. While Traj segment usage is strictly ordered from 5′ to 3′ as rearrangement proceeds, it is unclear to what degree Trav usage is also ordered.
