Trajectory Pattern Detection By Hmm Parameter Space Features And

open access: yes, 2004
We develop an object trajectory pattern learning method that has two significant advantages over past work. First, we represent trajectories in the HMM parameter space which overcomes the trajectory sampling problems of the existing methods. The proposed

Microstructure Reconstruction in Battery Electrodes Using Machine Learning Based on Low‐Voltage Focused Ion Beam–Scanning Electron Microscopy Tomography Images

open access: yesAdvanced Engineering Materials, EarlyView.
Low‐voltage FIB‐SEM tomography combined with a image preprocessing pipeline improves phase contrast and enables reliable machine‐learning segmentation of conductive networks in lithium‐ion battery electrodes. Structural descriptors are extracted from segmented images, done semimanually and automated, and compared.

Mechanical Behavior and Fracture Mechanisms of MXene/PVDF Nanocomponsites: In Situ Characterization and Multiscale Analysis

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
Multiscale experiments and modeling reveal how Ti3C2Tx MXene nanosheets reinforce PVDF nanocomposites. An optimal MXene loading (∼1 wt.%) nearly doubles tensile strength through efficient stress transfer, flake alignment, and crack‐deflection mechanisms, transforming ductile polymer behavior into a controlled multi‐stage fracture pathway which aligns ...

Swelling‐Programmed Topographical Guidance for Dynamic Spheroid Self‐Assembly via a Mechanochemical Hydrogel Niche

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A swelling‐programmed micropatterned hydrogel guides adherent cells through a controlled transition from cell–matrix anchoring to cadherin‐mediated cell–cell compaction, enabling rapid assembly of high‐viability spheroids with defined size and morphology.

Key Route Node Extraction from AIS Trajectories via Multi-Constraint Turning Point Identification and Heading-Aware Adaptive DBSCAN

open access: yesApplied Sciences
Automatic Identification System (AIS) trajectories provide valuable spatiotemporal information for maritime route structure mining, but robust extraction of key route nodes remains difficult because raw data are noisy, turning behaviors are easily masked

Machine Learning‐Assisted Inverse Design of Soft and Multifunctional Hybrid Liquid Metal Composites

open access: yesAdvanced Functional Materials, EarlyView.
A machine learning framework is presented for inverse design of synthesizable multifunctional composites containing both liquid metal and solid inclusions. By integrating physics‐based modeling, data‐driven prediction, and Bayesian optimization, the approach enables intelligent design of experiments to identify optimal compositions and realize these ...

Selective Averaging of Evoked Potentials using Trajectory-Based Clustering

open access: yes, 1994
:A clustering method has been developed to group evoked potentials that display similar prestimulus dynamic behavior. The procedure involves using the method of time delay embedding to construct a trajectory in state space from a time series.
