Incremental Learning on Trajectory Clustering [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
Scene understanding corresponds to the real time process of perceiving, analysing and elaborating an interpretation of a 3D dynamic scene observed through a network of cameras. The whole challenge consists in managing this huge amount of information and in structuring all the knowledge.

Clustering Trajectories for Map Construction

open access: yesProceedings of the 25th ACM SIGSPATIAL International Conference on Advances in Geographic Information Systems, 2017
We propose a new approach for constructing the underlying map from trajectory data. Our algorithm is based on the idea that road segments can be identified as stable subtrajectory clusters in the data. For this, we consider how subtrajectory clusters evolve for varying distance values, and choose stable values for these.

A Framework for Bus Trajectory Extraction and Missing Data Recovery for Data Sampled from the Internet

open access: yesSensors, 2017
This paper presents a novel framework for trajectories’ extraction and missing data recovery for bus traveling data sampled from the Internet. The trajectory extraction procedure is composed of three main parts: trajectory clustering, trajectory cleaning

An Anomaly Detection Algorithm for Time-series Data Flow Oriented to Trajectory Information [PDF]

open access: yesJisuanji gongcheng, 2018
Aiming at the problem that most traditional clustering algorithms cannot cluster time-series data flow,a clustering algorithm based on density and grid is proposed. It introduces the method of dynamic grid partitioning, dynamically set parameters such as ...

Ship behavior prediction via trajectory extraction-based clustering for maritime situation awareness [PDF]

open access: yes, 2021
This study presents a method in which historical AIS data are used to predict the future trajectory of a selected vessel. This is facilitated via a system intelligence-based approach that can be subsequently utilized to provide enhanced situation ...

Comparison of Geospatial Trajectory Clustering and Feature Trajectory Clustering for Public Transportation Trip Data

open access: yes, 2023
One of the techniques for the analysis of travel patterns on a public transport network is the clustering of the users movements, in order to identify movement patterns. This paper analyses and compares two different methodologies for public transport trajectory clustering: feature clustering and geospatial trajectory clustering.
