Lignin-Enhanced Laccase Production from Trametes versicolor
Waste and Biomass Valorization, 2016Laccase production requires a cost effective boost from host organisms to meet the needs for its numerous applications. Addition of 1.2 g L−1 lignin to media culture of Trametes versicolor improved laccase production up to 1213.93 U L−1, which was 3.69-fold higher in comparison with that without lignin addition.

Aflatoxin control in feed by Trametes versicolor
2014Aspergillus flavus are well known ubiquitous fungi able to contaminate both in pre- and postharvest period different feed and food commodities. During their growth these fungi can synthesise aflatoxins, secondary metabolites highly hazardous for animal and human health.

Oxidation of anthracene by immobilized laccase from Trametes versicolor
Bioresource Technology, 2009The laccase of Trametes versicolor was immobilized on the functionalized nanoparticles SBA-15 with the average diameter less than 10 nm. Laccase mediated oxidations of anthracene (ANT) were investigated in the presence of two mediators, 2,2'-azino-bis-(3-ethylbenzothiazoline-6-sulphonic acid) diammonium salt (ABTS) and 1-hydroxybenzotriazole (HBT ...

Heterologous expression of Trametes versicolor laccase in Saccharomyces cerevisiae
Protein Expression and Purification, 2018Laccase is used in various industrial fields, and it has been the subject of numerous studies. Trametes versicolor laccase has one of the highest redox potentials among the various forms of this enzyme. In this study, we optimized the expression of laccase in Saccharomyces cerevisiae.

Whole Genome of Trametes versicolor
The Trametes versicolor genome project aims to decode the complete genomic sequence of this medicinal mushroom. It focuses on identifying genes linked to bioactive compound synthesis (e.g., polysaccharides) and lignocellulose degradation. The project provides foundational data for pharmaceutical development, industrial biocatalysis, and fungal biology ...openaire +1 more source

Trametes versicolor inhibits aflatoxin production by Aspergillus parasiticus
2003The ability of lyophilised culture filtrates (LF) and mycelia extracts (ME) of 6 different isolates of Trametes versicolor grown in submerged cultures on 2 media, potato dextrose broth (PDB) and defined mineral media, to control aflatoxins biosynthesis by Aspergillus parasiticus was assayed.
