Host-Encoded Aminotransferase Import into the Endosymbiotic Bacteria Nardonella of Red Palm Weevil
Symbiotic systems are intimately integrated at multiple levels. Host–endosymbiont metabolic complementarity in amino acid biosynthesis is especially important for sap-feeding insects and their symbionts. In weevil–Nardonella endosymbiosis, the final step

The Arabidopsis thaliana gene annotated by the locus tag At3g08860 encodes alanine aminotransferase
The aminotransferase gene family in the model plant Arabidopsis thaliana consists of 44 genes, eight of which are suggested to be alanine aminotransferases.

Transaminases in Shigellæ [PDF]
NUMEROUS investigations have been made of the transaminase system in bacteria, and these have been reviewed by Meister1. The only reference to the transaminase activity in Shigellae appears to be the one mentioned by Lichstein and Cohen2 on a strain of Shigella dysenteriae (Shiga).

Enhancing PLP-Binding Capacity of Class-III ω-Transaminase by Single Residue Substitution
Transaminases are pyridoxal-5′-phosphate (PLP) binding enzymes, broadly studied for their potential industrial application. Their affinity for PLP has been related to their performance and operational stability and while significant differences in PLP ...

Cotargeting TREM2 and IL2 pathways triggers multipronged anticancer immunity
Von Locquenghien et al. report that MiTE‐144, a triggering receptor expressed on myeloid cells 2 (TREM2) blocking antibody fused to interleukin‐2 (IL2) variant with tumour microenvironment restricted activation, demonstrates superior anticancer efficiency in a preclinical setting.

Alanine Transaminase levels in Patients of Dengue Fever in the Suburbs of Islamabad
Introduction: Hepatic dysfunction is a highly varied condition that can show up as minor damage with elevated levels of transaminases, or appear as extensive damage and failure of liver cells.

Targeting TNBC: core–shell polycationic polyurea dendrimers with inherent anticancer activity
Core–shell polycationic PURE dendrimers were tested in TNBC‐derived tumor models. Both formulations selectively targeted TNBC and effectively reduced tumor volume. PUREG4‐OEI48 suppressed tumor growth without detectable toxicity, whereas PUREG4‐OCEI24, despite showing efficacy, induced hepatic toxicity.
