Hepatoblastoma, an aggressive childhood liver tumor, origins from malignant hepatoblast‐like cells. Single‐cell analysis reveals IGF2‐driven pathways promoting malignancy. Targeting these pathways offers promising treatments, with serum IGF2 as a potential diagnostic biomarker.

Drosophila Piwi distinguishes transposons from mRNAs by piRNA complementarity and abundance

Summary: Piwi-interacting RNAs (piRNAs) are the main repressors of transposable elements (TEs) in animal germlines. In Drosophila, Piwi-piRNA complexes associate with nascent TE transcripts to drive heterochromatin formation and TE repression.

Shrimp Virus Regulates ROS Dynamics via the Nrf2 Pathway to Facilitate Viral Replication

Viruses manipulate host ROS as a strategy to achieve successful infection. WSSV exploits Nrf2 pathway to maintain ROS homeostasis and establishes a positive feedback loop to facilitate WSSV replication. Wsv220 competitively binds to Keap1 to activate Nrf2. Nrf2 up‐regulates LvG6PDH to produce more NADPH and GSH to eliminate excessive ROS.
