Tuning of transducer elements in transducer array

open access: yesElectronics Letters, 1980
It is found that the resonance frequencies of various identical transducer elements used in a transducer array differ slightly. Due to this, relatively high power sources are required to radiate a certain amount of power. A possible solution to this problem which can be easily realised in practice for a ceramic transducer array is presented.

Measurement system for two-dimensional magnetic field distributions, applied to the investigation of recording head fields [PDF]

open access: yes, 1981
The system described is built around a very accurate positioner into which a sensitive transducer and the object of analysis is mounted. The properties of the applied magnetoresistive transducer are described.

Use of the Ferroelectric Ceramic Bismuth Titanate as an Ultrasonic Transducer for High Temperatures and Nuclear Radiation

open access: yesSensors, 2021
Ultrasonic transducers are often used in the nuclear industry as sensors to monitor the health and process status of systems or the components. Some of the after-effects of the Fukushima Daiichi earthquake could have been eased if sensors had been in ...

Carbon Fiber Ultramicrodic Electrode Electrodeposited with Over-Oxidized Polypyrrole for Amperometric Detection of Vesicular Exocytosis from Pheochromocytoma Cell

open access: yesSensors, 2015
Vesicular exocytosis is ubiquitous, but it is difficult to detect within the cells’ communication mechanism. For this purpose, a 2 µm ultramicrodic carbon fiber electrode was fabricated in this work based on electrodeposition with over-oxidized ...

Quantum capacities of transducers

open access: yesNature Communications, 2022
AbstractHigh-performance quantum transducers, which faithfully convert quantum information between disparate physical carriers, are essential in quantum science and technology. Different figures of merit, including efficiency, bandwidth, and added noise, are typically used to characterize the transducers’ ability to transfer quantum information.

The power of microRNA regulation—insights into immunity and metabolism

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
MicroRNAs are emerging as crucial regulators at the intersection of metabolism and immunity. This review examines how miRNAs coordinate glucose and lipid metabolism while simultaneously modulating T‐cell development and immune responses. Moreover, it highlights how cutting‐edge artificial intelligence applications can identify miRNA biomarkers ...
