Transesterification Kinetics of Waste Vegetable Oil in Supercritical Alcohols
The kinetic analysis method using the non-isothermal technique was proposed to determine the kinetic parameters for the transesterification reaction of waste vegetable oil (WVO) in supercritical alcohols.

Abstract The influence of pretreatment of rice bran oil using fluorescent and sunlight radiations on its colour and their influence on its chemical composition and oxidative stability were assessed. Rice bran oil was stored under sunlight, fluorescent light and ambient conditions for 60 days. Oil samples were collected every 15 days for analysis.

Abstract The hydrolysis of a series of esters of benzoyl-L-arginine and glycylglycine by papain has been examined in mixtures of water with various alcohols in the pH range of 5 to 6. The presence of straight chain alcohols resulted in an apparent inhibition of acid release.
