Transferring the inhomogeneous wave equation into a homogeneous equation
The inhomogeneous wave equation, triggered by point sources, forms the basis for the most modern computational techniques of seismic inversion. In this work, we propose to transfer the inhomogeneous wave equation into a homogeneous equation. We show that one can suppress the wavelet-based source term from the inhomogeneous equation in favour of setting

Numerical Simulation of Slug Flow Mass Transfer in the Pipe with Granular Layer
A numerical study of the process of interphase mass transfer during the motion of a gas bubble at different inclination angles in case of movement in the channel between the layers of gel is presented.

Finite size and finite temperature studies of the $osp(1|2)$ spin chain
We study a quantum spin chain invariant by the superalgebra $osp(1|2)$. We derived non-linear integral equations for the row-to-row transfer matrix eigenvalue in order to analyze its finite size scaling behaviour and we determined its central charge.

Abstract At present, as a rule, the determination of the transfer characteristics of viscosity, diffusion, heat conduction and other characteristics in macro-equations of aerohydromechanics is carried out experimentally or on the basis of the kinetic theory of gases - the Boltzmann equation.

Heat Transfer in Hydromagnetic Fluid Flow: Study of Temperature Dependence of Fluid Viscosity
Flow of a viscoelastic fluid through a channel with stretching walls in the presence of a magnetic field has been investigated. The viscosity of the fluid is assumed to vary with temperature.

Excited state TBA and functional relations in spinless Fermion model
The excited state thermodynamic Bethe ansatz (TBA) equations for the spinless Fermion model are presented by the quantum transfer matrix (QTM) approach. We introduce a more general family called T-functions and explore functional relations among them (T ...

Kinetic Theory and Hydrodynamics of Dense, Reacting Fluids far from Equilibrium
The kinetic theory for a fluid of hard spheres which undergo endothermic and/or exothermic reactions with mass transfer is developed. The exact balance equations for concentration, density, velocity and temperature are derived.
