Transfer function analysis of chemical kinetic systems
Journal of Theoretical Biology, 1967Abstract A technique is developed for the analysis of complex coupled chemical reaction systems utilizing transfer functions to characterize the kinetic properties of each reaction process. The method of analysis involves linearization in the vicinity of some steady state of the system.

In the last chapter, imaging performance in an optical imaging system is analysed by a point spread function for a thin lens, which is the image of a single point object. While this method is easily understood, it sometimes lacks an insight into an imaging process. In this chapter.

Determination of a Behavioural Transfer Function by Frequency Analysis
Nature, 1970TRANSFER functions are used by engineers as a means of describing, in a single equation, the relationship between the input and output of a system. Frequency analysis is a classic method of determining transfer functions in physical systems, and has also been used for quasi-behavioural systems, such as those controlling optokinetic responses1 and the ...

Statistical analysis of nonparametric transfer function estimates
IEEE Transactions on Instrumentation and Measurement, 1996The Empirical Transfer Function Estimate (ETFE) is the ratio of the Fourier transforms of the output and input signals of a system. It works well when the input signal is deterministic and exactly known. However, when the input signal is random, or it can only be observed with an observation error, the quality of the ETFE deteriorates. Its variance can

Analysis Based on Transfer Function
2011Nowadays the microcontrollers are more powerful and their prices are affordable which makes their use attractive. In mechatronic systems they are used either for On/Off or continuous-time controls. In both cases, the microcontroller is the hearth of the mechatronic system. In the On/Off case, it is used for security and control purposes.

A Theoretical Study of Arterial Disease by Transfer Function Analysis
IEEE Transactions on Biomedical Engineering, 1987A general method is proposed for a theoretical evaluation of the hemodynamic effects of stenosis on the arterial subsystem affected by it. In particular, it is applied to a lower limb stenosis, so as to compare the results of the theoretical analysis to those that other authors have obtained experimentally by processing Doppler ultrasound blood flow ...

On the foundations of transfer function analysis
International Journal of Engineering Science, 1964Abstract This paper presents an approach to the integral transform analysis of linear differential systems which is based on the expansion theorem of Weyl, Stone, Titchmarsh, and Kodaira (W-S-T-K). The problem is essentially to find an integral transform which is compatible with the canonical operator of a given class of systems.

Analysis of Scanning DMA Transfer Functions
Aerosol Science and Technology, 2008A new approach to determine transfer functions of scanning differential mobility analyzers (DMAs) is introduced. An expression for non-diffusive particle trajectories in a cylindrical DMA operating in a scanning voltage mode is obtained analytically. Particle trajectory simulations are then used to determine the scanning DMA transfer functions.
