Transfer of Test-Enhanced Learning

Experimental Psychology, 2022
Abstract. Memory for paired-associate words is facilitated by interim testing relative to restudy. According to the mediator effectiveness hypothesis, the benefit of retrieval practice is a consequence of the activation of a mediator word linking the cue and target.

Testing, Testing: In-Class Testing Facilitates Transfer on Cumulative Exams

Journal of Cognitive Education and Psychology, 2022
The testing effect occurs when a person’s memory performance is enhanced by previous tests. The current studies examined the performance effects of a classroom testing procedure on high and low performing students and their transfer of learning.HypothesesWe predicted testing in the classroom would lead to a testing effect and transfer of learning but ...

Moisture Transfer Tests in Blister Package Testing

Drug Development and Industrial Pharmacy, 1979
AbstractLactose and dicalcium phosphate tablets have been made by six different manufacturing-methods. These two types of tablet were packaged in blister packs and subjected to accelerated moisture tests. Methods are described whereby the diffusion coefficient of the blister film can be calculated from the moisture absorption curves.

Transference in Psychological Testing

Journal of Projective Techniques and Personality Assessment, 1968

Microvascular Free Transfer of Human Testes

Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, 1979
This clinical study was undertaken to demonstrate the feasibility of free transfer of undescended human testes with microvascular anastomoses. We have performed 4 microvascular free transfers of such testes in children aged 5, 6, and 8 years, with follow-up periods of one to three years. All 4 testes have remained clinically viable.

Testing efficiency transfer codes for equivalence

Applied Radiation and Isotopes, 2010
Four general Monte Carlo codes (GEANT3, PENELOPE, MCNP and EGS4) and five dedicated packages for efficiency determination in gamma-ray spectrometry (ANGLE, DETEFF, GESPECOR, ETNA and EFFTRAN) were checked for equivalence by applying them to the calculation of efficiency transfer (ET) factors for a set of well-defined sample parameters, detector ...

Transferring Context-Dependent Test Inputs

2017 IEEE International Conference on Software Quality, Reliability and Security (QRS), 2017
We consider the question of how to treat existing, context-based test inputs when contextual conditions change. Simply ignoring the voided inputs reduces confidence in the correctness of the system under test (SuT). Instead, we suggest to adjust the parameters of those inputs to the new conditions in a way that retains their original intention.
