Organoids in pediatric cancer research
Organoid technology has revolutionized cancer research, yet its application in pediatric oncology remains limited. Recent advances have enabled the development of pediatric tumor organoids, offering new insights into disease biology, treatment response, and interactions with the tumor microenvironment.

Piecewise Linear Groups and Transformation Groups [PDF]
The object of this paper is to show, via specific theorems, that the notions of topological group and transformation group become severely restricted when transposed to the piecewise linear category. Let us understand a piecewise linear (PL) group to be a topological group G together with a piecewise linear structure on G (i.e., triangulation of G as a

Fluorescent probes allow dynamic visualization of phosphoinositides in living cells (left), whereas mass spectrometry provides high‐sensitivity, isomer‐resolved quantitation (right). Their synergistic use captures complementary aspects of lipid signaling. This review illustrates how these approaches reveal the spatiotemporal regulation and quantitative

In this study, we present the structure of AcrIE8.1, a previously uncharacterized anti‐CRISPR protein that inhibits the type I‐E CRISPR‐Cas system. Through a combination of structural and biochemical analyses, we demonstrate that AcrIE8.1 directly binds to the Cas11 subunit of the Cascade complex to inhibit the CRISPR‐Cas system.

Unlocking Learning: Investigating the Replayability of Educational Games
Recently, gamification has emerged as an effective approach to captivate users, particularly in the context of online education. Although there has been a rise in the recent surge of articles on gamification, there is still a lack of research on the ...

By dawn or dusk—how circadian timing rewrites bacterial infection outcomes
The circadian clock shapes immune function, yet its influence on infection outcomes is only beginning to be understood. This review highlights how circadian timing alters host responses to the bacterial pathogens Salmonella enterica, Listeria monocytogenes, and Streptococcus pneumoniae revealing that the effectiveness of immune defense depends not only

On lifting transformation groups [PDF]
It is known [1] that if (X, G, IA) is a topological transformation group such that 7r1(G) = 0, and if X is a covering space of X, then there is a unique topological transformation group (5, G, ,) which covers (X, G, IA). In [2] the fundamental group o(X, xo, G) of a group of homeomorphisms G of a topological space X is defined,, and, it is observed in ...

Bifidobacterium bifidum establishes symbiosis with infants by metabolizing lacto‐N‐biose I (LNB) from human milk oligosaccharides (HMOs). The extracellular multidomain enzyme LnbB drives this process, releasing LNB via its catalytic glycoside hydrolase family 20 (GH20) lacto‐N‐biosidase domain.
