BrECADD in three days: Implementation of a condensed intensive first‐line regimen in Hodgkin lymphoma

open access: yesBritish Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
BrECADD can be delivered over 3 days instead of four, reducing intravenous treatment days by 25% without compromising dose intensity. Among 30 patients with advanced‐stage Hodgkin lymphoma, no unexpected toxicity was observed; there were no early discontinuations, and 1‐year progression‐free and overall survival were both 100%.

Autoimmune neutropenia in children: Test cells versus beads and a role for pro‐LL‐37 and absolute neutrophil count

open access: yesBritish Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
A comparison between bead‐based and cell‐based assays for autoantibody detection in childhood neutropenia revealed substantial discordance between platforms. Bead‐based methods should be complemented with cell‐based methods for optimal diagnostic sensitivity. Incorporating pro‐LL‐37 and ANC measurements into the clinical workup of childhood neutropenia

Mitochondrial Morphology Dynamics Remodel Metabolism and Affect TKI Sensitivity in EGFR‐Mutated Lung Cancer

open access: yesCancer Science, EarlyView.
TKI treatment promotes mitochondrial fission and metabolic reprogramming toward oxidative phosphorylation in residual EGFR‐mutant lung cancer cells. Targeting this metabolic vulnerability restores TKI sensitivity and provides a promising strategy to overcome acquired resistance.

Mechanisms of Thrombocytosis in Iron‐Deficiency Anemia

open access: yesEuropean Journal of Haematology, EarlyView.
ABSTRACT Iron‐deficiency anemia is frequently accompanied by reactive thrombocytosis, yet the mechanisms underlying this association remain incompletely understood. Beyond impaired erythropoiesis, iron availability has emerged as an active regulator of hematopoietic lineage decisions.
