Pioglitazone after Ischemic Stroke or Transient Ischemic Attack [PDF]
Patients with ischemic stroke or transient ischemic attack (TIA) are at increased risk for future cardiovascular events despite current preventive therapies. The identification of insulin resistance as a risk factor for stroke and myocardial infarction raised the possibility that pioglitazone, which improves insulin sensitivity, might benefit patients ...

Inflammatory dysregulation drives intervertebral disc degeneration via stage‐dependent immune cellular dynamics. Single‐cell transcriptomics and genetic risk mapping revealed a shift from LCN2high myeloid‐derived suppressor cells maintaining disc repair in early stages to IL1B+ macrophage‐dominated pathology in advanced disease.

Reinforcing Stromal Cell Spheroid Through Red‐Light Preconditioning for Advanced Vascularization
This study presents a novel approach to enhance stromal cell therapy for myocardial infarction by combining OLED‐based photobiomodulation (OPBM) preconditioning with 3D spheroid culture of hADSCs. The engineered spheroids improve angiogenesis, arterialization, and cardiac function in vivo, offering a next‐generation therapeutic strategy to overcome ...
