The applications of hybrid simulator in transient stability assessment

This paper presents the study of using a new hybrid simulator for transient stability assessment. This new hybrid simulator is developed to extend the traditional transient stability program to include detailed modelling of modern power electronics devices such as SVC, FACTS, etc.
