A novel phthalocyanine (PC)‐based metal–organic framework (MOFs) is synthesized using ditopic PC linkers obtained through regioselective statistical condensation. The resulting MOF exhibits significant improvements in electronic absorption, thereby enhancing the material's performance in light harvesting and energy conversion.

Making the connection: transit-oriented development and jobs [PDF]
Transit-oriented development (TOD) can serve the needs of working families—particularly those with low- and moderate-incomes—by linking workers to viable employment opportunities through strategically located affordable housing and accessible transit ...

Photoswitchable Conductive Metal–Organic Frameworks
A conductive material where the conductivity can be modulated remotely by irradiation with light is presented. It is based on films of conductive metal–organic framework type Cu3(HHTP)2 with embedded photochromic molecules such as azobenzene, diarylethene, spiropyran, and hexaarylbiimidazole in the pores.

Equipping communities to achieve equitable transit-oriented development [PDF]
Though transit-oriented development (TOD) is uniquely positioned to benefit low- and moderate-income (LMI) communities, most TOD projects do not focus on the interests of LMI communities and in some cases have dramatically disrupted low-income ...

Effect of New Rail Transit Stations on Income Distribution of Nearby Residential Moves [PDF]
This project brief summarizes findings from a project aimed at addressing the question of "Is new rail transit associated with displacement of low-income residents in near-rail neighborhoods?" To address this question, the researchers used annual data on

The layer‐by‐layer (LbL) assembly of coordination solids, enabled by the surface‐mounted metal‐organic framework (SURMOF) platform, is on the cusp of generating the organic counterpart of the epitaxy of inorganics. The programmable and sequential SURMOF protocol, optimized by machine learning (ML), is suited for accessing high‐quality thin films of ...
