The eight-planet Kepler-90 system exhibits the greatest multiplicity of planets found to date. All eight planets are transiting and were discovered in photometry from the NASA Kepler primary mission. The two outermost planets, g ( P _g = 211 days) and h

Endocytic Control of Cell‐Autonomous and Non‐Cell‐Autonomous Functions of p53
NUMB Ex3‐containing isoforms localize to the plasma membrane, where they recruit p53 through SNX9 and direct it to multivesicular bodies and exosomes. Exported p53 is taken up by neighboring cells and activates nuclear programs, revealing an intercellular, exosome‐based pathway that might help establish a tumor‐suppressive microenvironment.

Abstract Building upon the integrative framework of tendinopathy proposed by Gehwolf et al.—which elegantly connects mechanical stress, inflammation, and vascularity—this commentary extends the discussion by introducing novel mechanistic insights and future research directions that move beyond the established triad. A paradigm shift is proposed ...

Sporadic Dips from Extended Debris Transiting the Metal-rich White Dwarf SBSS 1232+563
We present the discovery of deep but sporadic transits in the flux of SBSS 1232+563, a metal-rich white dwarf polluted by disrupted exoplanetary debris.

Mauna Kea High Speed Photometry of Transits of the Extrasolar Planet HD 209458B
Using high-speed photometry techniques, three transits of the extrasolar planet across the disk of the star HD 209458 have been observed. The combination of a WET-style 3-channel photometer and an excellent site yielded millimagnitude photometric ...

Dorsal Raphe VIP Neurons Are Critical for Survival‐Oriented Vigilance
DRNVIP neurons in mice and primates are strategically positioned to influence the central extended amygdala via feedback loops. They regulate the excitability of PKC‐δ neurons in the ovBNST and CeA through glutamate release. Their ablation heightens activity in these regions, disrupts active‐phase sleep architecture, enhances risk assessment behaviors ...

Phytoplankton Tune Local pH to Actively Modulate Circadian Gravitactic Behavior
Diel vertical migration hides an unexpected twist: Phytoplankton quietly engineer their local pH landscape, splitting into behaviorally distinct sub‐groups which stay separated even in identical conditions. Circadian pH changes, occuring over the course of a day, reshape their gravitactic behavior and physiological functions in ways scientists have ...

Detecting Planetary Oblateness in the Era of JWST: A Case Study of Kepler-167e
Planets may be rotationally flattened, and their oblateness thus provides useful information on their formation and evolution. Here, we develop a new algorithm that can compute the transit light curve due to an oblate planet very efficiently and use it ...
