Transition moments for linear potentials

Journal of Physics A: Mathematical and General, 1982
A new method based on hypervirial relationships is used to calculate transition moments for linear potentials of bounded systems, generalising previous results. The deduced equations are applied to the model of an electron in a finite unidimensional crystal under the influence of an external uniform electric field.

Chemical potential induced phase transitions

physica status solidi (b), 2004
AbstractA simple electrical set‐up to detect phase transitions is proposed and applied to a series of investigated samples: Gd, Cr, TiNi and CuZnSn, all exhibiting different types of phase transitions. The sample is glued to a contact electrode (here Ag) and immersed into a thermostat.

Carbon emission reduction potential of urban rail transit in China based on electricity consumption structure

Resources, Conservation and Recycling, 2019
With the rapid development of rail transit, a vast amount of electric power is consumed each year. However, the generation of electricity, and especially coal power generation, is an important source of greenhouse gases.

Potential carcinogenicity of some transition metal ions

Biological Trace Element Research, 1999
Potential carcinogenicity of some transition metal ions was tested using a direct-current polarography method. The measurements were based on the reduction of tested compounds in an anhydrous solution using alpha-lipoic acid as the detection compound.

Potential electronic transition chemical laser: parametric evaluation

Applied Optics, 1975
Through the utilization of a generalized computer code that calculates the minimum reactive branching ratio required for a species to display optical gain, a parametric study was performed to ascertain which properties of the electronic potential curves of a heteronuclear diatomic molecule have the greatest effect on the suitability of that molecule as
