Translocator

Proceedings of the 11th ACM International Conference on Bioinformatics, Computational Biology and Health Informatics, 2020
Translocation is an important class of structural variants known to be associated with cancer formation and treatment. The recent development in single-molecule sequencing technologies that produce long reads has promised an advance in detecting translocations accurately. However, existing tools struggled with the high base error-rate of the long reads.

Phosphate translocator and adenylate translocator in chromoplast membranes

Planta, 1980
It is shown by the criteria of saturation kinetics, specificity, and inhibition experiments that chromoplast membranes from the daffodil flower contain a phosphate translocator for the counter-exchange of phosphate, and 3-phosphoglycerate, as well as phosphoenolpyruvate; they also contain an adenylate translocator.

Macular translocation

Current Opinion in Ophthalmology, 2000
Macular translocation is a term used to describe any surgical procedure that involves the deliberate detachment of the retina with subsequent repositioning of the macula to a new location relative to the underlying retinal pigment epithelium. By moving the fovea away from abnormal pigment epithelium and/or choroid and repositioning it over more normal ...

TransLoc

Proceedings of the 26th Annual International Conference on Mobile Computing and Networking, 2020
Instant delivery is an important urban service in recent years because of the increasing demand. An important issue for delivery platforms is to keep updating the status of couriers especially the real-time locations, which is challenging when they are in an indoor environment.

Nutrition and Translocation

Journal of Parenteral and Enteral Nutrition, 1990
It is now clear that atrophy of the intestinal mucosa can occur rapidly after injury and that the degree of atrophy is quantitatively related to the severity of injury. Such atrophy can be associated with translocation of bacteria and endotoxin, which can trigger the hypermetabolic response and induce a septic state, which may ultimately lead to ...
