The torsion transmission characteristics for gastroscope intervention
2018 IEEE International Conference on Intelligence and Safety for Robotics (ISR), 2018In recent years, medical assistant robots have been widely used in the medical profession. Previously, for the diagnosis and treatment of gastrointestinal diseases, we developed a robot-assisted system for gastroscope intervention to relieve the surgeon from heavy workload. On the basis of the original gastroscope, we can make use of the robot-assisted

Transmission Characteristics of Filters
American Journal of Physics, 1968A study is made of the light transmission of several optical filters, used individually and in combination. Measurements are made over a wavelength range of 0.36–0.75 μ. A strip-chart recorder is used to plot the output of a Barnes ES-100 educational spectrometer.

Spectral Transmission Characteristics of Tinted Lenses
Archives of Ophthalmology, 1981A total of 90 prescription and commercially available tinted lenses were evaluated for spectra transmission characteristics. An inappropriately large number of these lenses transmitted unnecessarily high amounts of light in the near ultraviolet, visible, and near infrared portions of the spectrum.

Characteristics of Microstrip Transmission Lines
IEEE Transactions on Electronic Computers, 1967Equations are developed which accurately describe the characteristic impedance and signal propagation delay for narrow microstrip transmission lines. Differences in signal propagation delay for microstrip, strip line, and coaxial cables are compared as a function of dielectric constant.

Transmission Switching Characteristics of PLZT Shutters
Applied Optics, 1973The ON-OFF ratio, insertion loss, and switching speed of polycrystalline ferroelectric ceramic PLZT electrooptic shutters fabricated with a zirconium to titanium ratio of 65 to 35 and a lanthanum concentration of approximately 8% were investigated as functions of voltage amplitude and duration. Larger ON-OFF ratios (33 dB for dc mode) were observed for

Underwater Transmission Characteristics for Laser Radiation
Applied Optics, 1966Characteristics of the transmission of visual radiation in water are discussed and underwater transmission data applying to extended ranges are presented. Measurements have been made with an intense, narrow beam, coherent radiation source which has a spectral peak at 5300 A and a bandwidth of 24 A.

Transmission Characteristics of the SOFAR Channel
The Journal of the Acoustical Society of America, 1970The transmission of long single-frequency pulses of sound in the deep sound channel is described. Pulses of 2-sec duration and 778-Hz carrier frequency were transmitted for ranges up to 270 km in the area south of Bermuda. The measurements include the attenuation coefficient, transition range, and horizontal small-scale spatial variation.

Characteristics of microstrip transmission lines
Journal of Electronics (China), 1990An efficient hybrid field solution to microstrip transmission lines is presented by using SLE and SLM modes in spectral domain. It by-passes the lengthy process of formulating the determinant equation for the unknown propagation constant. Compared with spectral domain admittance approach, this method is clear in both physical and mathematical senses ...

Characteristics of the Transmission System
1993As sonar signals propagate out of the dolphin’s head, a definite acoustic field is formed that is governed by the size of the animal’s head, the peak frequency of the signals, the area of the sound production mechanism, and the amount of focusing within the melon and at the melon-water interface. The acoustic near field will form in the vicinity of the
