Nondestructive evaluation of grout defect in rock bolt using electromagnetic waves
This study aims to inspect grout defects in rock bolts using electromagnetic (EM) waves. The experiments are conducted using one intact rock bolt and eight defective rock bolts with defect ratios (DR) of 10–50%.

Soft defects diagnosis in coaxial transmission lines

Historical Foundation and Practical Guideline for Ferroelectric Switching Kinetic Studies
The P and U pulses in the conventional PUND measurements are not identical because of the interplay between switching current and the measurement circuit components. This circuit effect can lead to a shift in polarization transients and misinterpreted physics in the switching kinetics.

A Novel Approach To Utilize Plc To Detect Corroded And Eroded Segments Of Power Transmission Lines
A great number of existing power transmission lines have aged throughout the world. A considerable proportion of them are located in the environments that exacerbate their corrosion and erosion process.

In the work reported herein, dipole‐engineered sulfonated carbon nanofibers enable conductive additives to actively regulate interphase formation in silicon anodes. Polar sulfonyl groups guide electrolyte decomposition to form a compact LiF‐rich interphase while promoting robust integration with silicon.
