ABSTRACT Objective Progression independent of relapse activity is a major determinant of long‐term disability in multiple sclerosis, but its immunopathologic basis remains incompletely understood. We investigated whether relapse‐independent progression in radiologically stable relapsing–remitting multiple sclerosis is associated with distinct ...

Study of Transmission Loss on Muffler
Transmission loss is the main method which measure silencer sound deadening capacity. The most effective noise elimination technique of compensator is muffler. Muffler is equipment which organizes sound transmission and permits airflow pass and must satisfy definite muffling amount and frequency property.

β‐Catenin/c‐Myc Axis Modulates Autophagy Response to Different Ammonia Concentrations
Ammonia, detoxified by the liver into urea and glutamine, impacts autophagy differently at varying levels. Low ammonia activates autophagy via c‐Myc and β‐catenin, while high levels suppress it. Using Huh7 cells and Spf‐ash mice, c‐Myc's role in cytoprotective autophagy is revealed, offering insights into hyperammonemia and potential therapeutic ...

Transmission Loss of Walls in Studios [PDF]
Measurements are reported for the transmission loss of single, double, and threefold light and heavy partition walls in a large number of radio studios. With different kinds of insulation against structure-borne sound, an average value of transmission loss up to 83 db has been achieved.

ErB4 and NdB4 nanostructured powders are produced by mechanochemical synthesis. 5 h mechanical alloying and 4 M HCl acid leaching are used in the production. ErB4 and NdB4 powders exhibit maximum magnetization of 0.4726 emu g−1 accompanied with an antiferromagnetic‐to‐paramagnetic phase transition at about TN = 18 K and 0.132 emu g−1 with a maximum at ...

New features on yttria‐stabilized zirconia after exposure at 1500°C: Newly discovered pyramidal structures on an old material. After exposure at 1550°C on the cross section of YSZ new features, namely pyramidal structures are discovered. These structures grow with time, increase in numbers, appear as singularities, are often arranged in strings, and ...
