Detection in situ of carotenoid in microalgae by transmission spectroscopy
Computers and Electronics in Agriculture, 2015Vis/NIR transmission spectra in situ to determine the CC in Spirulina sp.Variable selection method of LW analysis, UVE and SPA were used. The prediction performance of x-LW-PLS, UVE-PLS and SPA-PLS were compared.A high RPD value of 3.40 and 3.44 were obtained by x-LW-PLS and SPA-PLS models.

Transmission spectroscopy of a thin membrane
American Journal of Physics, 1993A few-micron-thick nitrocellulose membrane stretched flat across an open frame (a ‘‘pellicle’’) has gently modulated passbands typically spaced by 20–60 nm across the visible and near-infrared. This makes it an attractive subject for an upper-division laboratory exercise.

Transmission electron microscopy at 20kV for imaging and spectroscopy
Ultramicroscopy, 2011The electron optical performance of a transmission electron microscope (TEM) is characterized for direct spatial imaging and spectroscopy using electrons with energies as low as 20 keV. The highly stable instrument is equipped with an electrostatic monochromator and a C(S)-corrector.

Transmission spectroscopy of dengue viral infection
Laser Physics Letters, 2012We presented the rapid diagnostic test for dengue infection based on light spectrum of human blood. The transmission spectra of dengue infected whole blood samples have been recorded in ultra violet to near infrared range (400 – 800 nm) of about 30 conformed infected patients and compared to normal blood samples. Transmission spectra of dengue infected

Terahertz transmission spectroscopy of chalcogenide glasses
2008 33rd International Conference on Infrared, Millimeter and Terahertz Waves, 2008Terahertz transmission of a chalcogenide family of glasses is reported. The glasses were processed using established methods for non-oxide glasses. Transmission through the samples was measured using a THz spectrometer. The transmission and optical properties of the glasses are summarized.

Electron Transmission Spectroscopy: Rare Gases
Physical Review A, 1972A transmission experiment is used to observe structure in the total electron-impact cross section for He, Ne, Ar, Kr, and Xe below the respective ionization potentials, and also in the region of autoionizing states. The positions of the resonances are tabulated and compared with the results of other investigators.
