We present a novel X-band 1-bit reconfigurable transmitarray with excellent polarization conversion. The basic element consists of two layers of metal patterns connected by a metal through-hole and feed structures.

ABSTRACT This paper introduces a single‐layer reflectarray (RA) design capable of converting incoming linearly polarized waves into outgoing circularly polarized ones while focusing the beam. The design employs nonresonant unit cells, extending the classical concept of meander‐line polarizers.
