Flow Analysis of a 300 MW F-Class Heavy-Duty Gas Turbine 1.5 Stage Compressor
The axial compressor is crucial for heavy-duty gas turbines, with its aerodynamic performance directly affecting efficiency. The current trend in the development of these compressors is to increase the stage load and efficiency, thereby achieving a ...

Charge Transport in Ternary Charge‐Transfer Solid Solution Single Crystals
This study deconvolutes the roles of indirect (superexchange) and direct electronic coupling on charge transport in single crystals of an organic charge‐transfer molecular semiconductor (OSC). This model system elegantly demonstrates that structural defects introduced by chemical dopants play a significant role in the electronic performance ...

Effect of Moist Air on Transonic Internal Flow around a Plate
The unsteady phenomena in the transonic flow around airfoils are observed in the flow field of fan, compressor blades and butterfly valves, and this causes often serious problems such as the aeroacoustic noise and the vibration.

Simulation of Casing Treatments ofa Transonic Compressor Stage
This article presents the study of casing treatments on an axial compressor stage for improving stability and enhancing stall margin. So far, many simulations of casing treatments on single rotor or rotor‐stator configurations were performed. But as the application of casing treatments in engines will be in a multistage compressor, in this study, the ...

Counterion Dependent Side‐Chain Relaxation Stiffens a Chemically Doped Thienothiophene Copolymer
Oxidation of a thienothiophene copolymer, p(g3TT‐T2), via different doping strategies and dopant molecules resulted in materials with similar oxidation levels and a high electrical conductivity of ≈100 S cm−1. However, mechanical properties varied significantly, with sub‐glass transition temperatures and elastic moduli spanning from –44°C to –3°C and ...

A self‐gelling PG@PAC (POD/Gel‐CDH@PA/CHX) powder is developed for infected burn care in austere settings. Upon contact with wound exudate, it instantly forms an adhesive hydrogel, providing simultaneous hemostasis, broad‐spectrum antibacterial activity, reactive oxygen species scavenging, and immunomodulation. In a murine model of S.

Design of Compressor Blades Suitable for Transonic Axial-Flow Compressors [PDF]
This paper deals with the development of a blade profile suitable for transonic axial-flow compressors. Development of new incidence and deviation rules incorporating thickness, Mach numbers, and position of maximum thickness corrections are fully explained.

Half-scale transonic compressor rapid testing rig
Abstract High-speed compressor testing is costly due to mechanical complexity and hazardous due to the high energy involved. In the past this has limited the speed and amount of testing. In this paper a new rig architecture is presented that aims to test a scaled transonic compressor stage rapidly.
