Transperitoneal Ureterolithotomy

British Journal of Urology, 1975
Summary The transperitoneal approach to the pelvic ureter has many advantages over the extraperitoneal technique for ureterolithotomy but the operation is safe only if contamination of the peritoneal cavity is avoided by establishing extraperitoneal drainage after closing the incision in the peritoneum over the ureter.

In-vivo transperitoneal fertilization

Human Reproduction, 1989
We present the technique of in-vivo transperitoneal fertilization (IVTPF) as a first approach to infertility treatment in couples with male subfertility or unexplained factors. The technique is statistically less successful but also less invasive than either gamete intra-Fallopian transfer (GIFT) or in-vitro fertilization - embryo transfer (IVFET) and ...

Laparoscopic Transperitoneal Ureterolithotomy

Journal of Endourology, 2007
To present our experience with laparoscopic ureterolithotomy as a potential alternative to open ureterolithotomy.Between October 2003 and October 2005, a total of 27 laparoscopic ureterolithotomies were performed in 25 patients. The mean age of the patients was 39.8 +/- 17.5 years, and the mean body mass index (BMI) was 28.7 +/- 3.9 kg/m2.

Laparoscopic transperitoneal adrenalectomy

Urologiia, 2017
To analyze the results of laparoscopic adrenalectomy (LAE) in patients with adrenal gland tumors. From 2011 to 2016, 24 patients (15 men, 9 women), mean age 49.6 +/- 8.2 years, underwent LAE. The right, left and bilateral LAE was performed in 12, 10 and 2 patients, respectively.

Transperitoneal Oxygenation with Fluorocarbons

Anesthesia & Analgesia, 1986
This work investigated the improvement of arterial oxygenation in hypoxic rats during peritoneal perfusion with the oxygen-carrying perfluorocarbon blood substitute FC43. Three groups of six Wistar rats were ventilated with hypoxic gas mixtures to obtain an arterial oxygen tension (PaO2) of approximately 55 mm Hg.

Transperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy

Urologic Clinics of North America, 2001
Laparoscopic adrenalectomy has been demonstrated by many institutions to be a safe and effective approach to benign adrenal lesions. As surgical skills improve, it will most likely be comparable with open adrenalectomy in overall cost. Although it is technically demanding and takes slightly longer than open surgery, the benefits to the patient in terms

Lateral transperitoneal laparoscopic adrenalectomy

World Journal of Urology, 1999
Several laparoscopic approaches to the adrenal gland have been described. The lateral transperitoneal approach has several distinct advantages when contrasted with other techniques for laparoscopic adrenalectomy (LA). We present our technique and results obtained in 50 consecutive transperitoneal LAs.
