Effects of Ehrlich ascites tumor transplantation in mice on the distribution of cells capable of forming hemopoietic colonies in vitro

open access: closedEuropean Journal of Cancer (1965), 1978
Abstract The effects of intraperitoneal Ehrlich ascites tumor development in CBA/H-T 6 mice on the distribution of hemopoietic colony forming cells in the host bone marrow and spleen were studied using soft agar culture techniques. Cell suspensions of hemopoietic tissues obtained from mice at various days after i.p.

Colonization of "Trypanosoma brucei gambiense" within transplanted Ehrlich's tumors of "Microtus montanus"

Acta tropica, 1980
Trypanosoma brucei gambiense has been observed growing in extravascular sites throughout a solid Ehrlich ascites tumor (EAT) in Microtus montanus. These trypanosomes appear in clusters in the tumor. The possible importance of this observation to the host-parasite relationship is discussed.

[Melatonin enhances antitumor effect of doxorubicin on a model of transplantable Ehrlich tumor in female sHR mice].

open access: closedVoprosy onkologii, 2018
A combined antitumor effect of a single injection of doxorubicin and the indole hormone melatonin was investigated in the model of transplantable Ehrlich carcinoma in female SHR mice. Animals received melatonin either subcutaneous 10 mg/ kg in the evening or with water 10 mg/l at night (from 20 pm to 8 am) for 3 weeks.

[Nonspecific suppressive effect of Ehrlich tumor ascitic fluid on transplantation immunity].

Biulleten' eksperimental'noi biologii i meditsiny, 1979
The influence of syngeneic Ehrlich ascites tumour fluid on the survival of allogeneic skin allografts was investigated on CC57BR mice. A 3--4-day delay of the allograft rejection in mice injected with ascitic fluid was revealed. Preliminary transplantation of such allograft to mice with Ehrlich tumour produced no intensification of the immunodepressive

[Effect of the nucleic acids from the ascitic fluid of Ehrlich's tumor on its transplantability].

Voprosy onkologii, 1982
The effect of nucleic acids isolated from ascitic fluid of Ehrlich tumor and Zaidela's hepatoma on the survival rate of C3Ha mice inoculated with Ehrlich tumor cells was studied. While nucleic acid preparations suppressed the cytotoxicity of immune lymphocytes in vitro, they failed to increase frequency of tumor inoculation in vivo.

[Specificity of the action of the RNA released by Ehrlich carcinoma cells on the transplantability and growth of a homologous tumor].

Voprosy onkologii, 1979
A comparative study was undertaken on the effect of different RNA preparations on the transplatability and growth of Ehrlich carcinoma. The RNA isolated from Ehrlich carcinoma ascites fluid was found to render the specific stimulating action on the transplantability and growth of a homologous tumor, while total RNA from bovine liver, tRNA from rabbit ...

[Comparative radiosensitivity of clonogenic tumor cells of the transplantable Ehrlich carcinoma in the ascitic and solid forms of growth].

Radiobiologiia, 1988
Survival of clonogenic cells of solid Ehrlich ascites tumor (EAT) exposed to 60Co-gamma-radiation in vitro under the oxygenation conditions was investigated and the clonogenic capacity and radiosensitivity of these cells and cells of the previously studied EAT ascitic form and Lewis solid tumor comparatively studied to elucidate how the efficiency of ...
