Early-age effect of corn cob ash as a partial replacement for Portland cement in concrete [PDF]
One of the effects of supplementary cementitious materials (SCMs) in concrete is the dilution effect which is as a result of partially replacing Portland cement with SCMs.

High-Throughput Investigation of the Electron Transport Properties in Si₁-
Si1–xGex alloys are among the most used materials for power electronics and quantum technology. In most engineering models the parameters used to simulate the material and its electronic transport properties are derived from experimental results ...

Effective Transport Properties of Lattices [PDF]
Summary: The method of multiple scales is used to calculate the effective macroscopic transport properties of a random walk on a periodic lattice with arbitrary, spatially dependent transition rates. In contrast to the standard multiple-scales approach for continuous media, the fast scale here is discrete, and only the slow scale is continuous.

Transport of melt, pressure and heat through a magma mush
Prior to intrusion, magma migrates through the crustal plumbing system that likely contains layers or columns of crystal mush. To better understand the behavior of the crustal magmatic system during magmatic unrest, it is important to examine the process

Certain Aspects of Quantum Transport in Zigzag Graphene Nanoribbons
We have investigated the Fano factor and shot noise theoretically in the confined region of the potential well of zigzag graphene nanoribbon (ZGNR). We have found that the Fano factor is approximately 1, corresponding to the minimum conductivity (σ) for ...
