Correlation between high temperature performance of gussasphalt mixture for steel bridge decks and rheology of asphalt mastic

open access: yesCase Studies in Construction Materials
Rutting is a prevalent issue in the Gussasphalt (GA) mixture layer of steel bridge deck pavements. This study aims to investigate the correlation between the rheology of GA mastic and the high-temperature performance of the GA mixture.

THE GRAVITY MODEL FORMALIZATION FOR THE INTERCITY PASSENGER’S CORRESPONDENCES PARAMETER’S ESTIMATION

open access: yesНаука и техника, 2017
he paper considers a possibility to apply gravity models for calculation of intercity passenger transport corres- pondences which are implemented with the help of public transport.

Non-Markovian full counting statistics in quantum dot molecules

open access: yes, 2015
Full counting statistics of electron transport is a powerful diagnostic tool for probing the nature of quantum transport beyond what is obtainable from the average current or conductance measurement alone.

Transferrin receptor 1‐mediated iron uptake supports thermogenic activation in human cervical‐derived adipocytes

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
In this study, we found that human cervical‐derived adipocytes maintain intracellular iron level by regulating the expression of iron transport‐related proteins during adrenergic stimulation. Melanotransferrin is predicted to interact with transferrin receptor 1 based on in silico analysis.

Quantum and Classical Superballistic Transport in a Relativistic Kicked-Rotor System

open access: yes, 2014
As an unusual type of anomalous diffusion behavior, superballistic transport is not well known but has been experimentally simulated recently. Quantum superballistic transport models to date are mainly based on connected sublattices which are constructed

The planar cell polarity protein Vangl2 interacts with the PDZ‐domains of Scribble but not with a unique PDZ‐like domain in Inturned

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
Structural and biochemical characterisations show that the planar cell polarity (PCP) protein Inturned harbours a unique PDZ‐like domain that does not bind canonical PDZ‐binding motifs (PBMs) like that of another PCP protein Vangl2. In contrast, the apical‐basal polarity protein Scribble contains four PDZ domains that bind Vangl2, but one PDZ domain ...

Data Source Importance Evaluation for Highway Networks: A Complex Network-Based Approach

open access: yesPromet (Zagreb)
Data collection technologies or data sources are critical for highway network management. However, due to the limitations on available management resources, determining the importance of these data sources is necessary to allocate these resources ...

Quantum master equation approach to quantum transport through mesoscopic systems

open access: yes, 2005
For quantum transport through mesoscopic system, a quantum master equation approach is developed in terms of compact expressions for the transport current and the reduced density matrix of the system.

Tau acetylation at K331 has limited impact on tau pathology in vivo

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We mapped tau post‐translational modifications in humanized MAPT knock‐in mice and in amyloid‐bearing double knock‐in mice. Acetylation within the repeat domain, particularly around K331, showed modest increases under amyloid pathology. To test functional relevance, we generated MAPTK331Q knock‐in mice.
