Hypothesis testing for performance evaluation of probabilistic seasonal rainfall forecasts

A hypothesis testing approach, based on the theorem of probability integral transformation and the Kolmogorov–Smirnov one-sample test, for performance evaluation of probabilistic seasonal rainfall forecasts is proposed in this study.
