Endoscopic transsphenoidal resection of a non-functioning ectopic pituitary adenoma located in the clivus: a case report and literature review

We successfully removed a rare ectopic pituitary adenoma from a 64-year-old female patient initially misdiagnosed with a chordoma. The tumor was located in the slope region and posed a challenge due to its rarity and location.
