In all of the world’s seas, oceans, and waterways, fishing gear is continually lost and discarded. As a result, animals become captured, only to die from starvation, predation, cannibalism, disease, or poor water quality. When caught animals die, they, in turn, attract scavengers, thus creating a cycle of death.

Moving towards full utilization and a zero waste seafood industry requires creative and costeffective solutions. For trap fisheries, such as lobster and crab, large quantities of bait arerequired by each vessel to capture the targeted species. Arm‐Length‐Controlled CsPbBr3 Nanocrystals for Tunable Optical and Assembly Behavior
In this work, the synthesis parameters that dictate the formation of armed CsPbBr3 nanocrystals are described, and routes enabling precise control over arm length are proposed. Direct links between morphology and optoelectronic behavior are established.
