In this paper, we propose the new type of fuzzy number, intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy number(ITFN) and intervalvalued intuitionistic trapezoidal fuzzy number(IVITFN), study some properties of them, and investigate some algebraic operations between two IVITFNs. We also present the sorting criteria for IVITFN based on its definition.
