THERMAL PERFORMANCE OF REFRIGERATED VEHICLES IN THE DISTRIBUTION OF PERISHABLE FOOD

open access: yes, 2015
The temperature of refrigerated products along the distribution process must be kept within close limits to ensure optimum food safety levels and high product quality. The variation of product temperature along the vehicle routing sequence is represented

Influence of radiation and thermal slip on electrically conductive dusty Walter’s B fluid moving peristaltically through an asymmetric channel

open access: yesAlexandria Engineering Journal
Motivation: The motivation of this recent article is to study dusty Walter’s B fluid flow due to its wide range of applications in biology and polymer industry. The fluid is traveling peristaltically through an asymmetric channel with wall slip.

Extended Generalized Riccati Equation Mapping for Thermal Traveling-Wave Distribution in Biological Tissues through a Bio-Heat Transfer Model with Linear/Quadratic Temperature-Dependent Blood Perfusion

open access: yesApplied Mathematics, 2013
Analytical thermal traveling-wave distribution in biological tissues through a bio-heat transfer (BHT) model with linear/quadratic temperature-dependent blood perfusion is discussed in this paper. Using the extended generalized Riccati equation mapping method, we find analytical traveling wave solutions of the considered BHT equation.

Thermalization of a jet wake in QCD kinetic theory

open access: yes, 2023
We study the energy deposition of a high-momentum parton traveling through a Quark-Gluon Plasma using QCD kinetic theory. We show that the energy is first transported to the soft sector by collinear cascade and then isotropised by elastic scatterings ...

Boundary zonal flow in rotating turbulent Rayleigh-Bénard convection [PDF]

open access: yes, 2020
For rapidly rotating turbulent Rayleigh–Bénard convection in a slender cylindrical cell, experiments and direct numerical simulations reveal a boundary zonal flow (BZF) that replaces the classical large-scale circulation.

Temperature, traveling, slums, and housing drive dengue transmission in a non-endemic metropolis.

open access: yes, 2021
Dengue is steadily increasing worldwide and expanding into higher latitudes. Current non-endemic areas are prone to become endemic soon. To improve understanding of dengue transmission in these settings, we assessed the spatiotemporal dynamics of the ...

Comparison of the Difference in Temperature Distribution on the Surface of Two Aluminum Alloys Welded by Friction Stir Welding in Different Regions at Different Linear and Rotational Speeds

open access: yesThe Annals of “Dunarea de Jos” University of Galati. Fascicle IX, Metallurgy and Materials Science
Friction stir welding is a modern process that is used commercially on a large scale in various industries and in many countries to connect materials together without reaching the melting point of the metal during the welding process, so it is called the
