Precise Control of Drug Release in Machine Learning‐Designed Antibody‐Eluting Implants for Postoperative Scarring Inhibition in Glaucoma

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
We developed a micro‐sized, biocompatible implant for postoperative sustained delivery of anti‐fibrotic antibodies in glaucoma surgery. Machine learning‐guided optimization of polymer composition, implant geometry, and porosity enabled precise control of drug release.

Comprehensive characterization of T-DNA integration induced chromosomal rearrangement in a birch T-DNA mutant

open access: yesBMC Genomics, 2019
Background Integration of T-DNA into plant genomes via Agrobacterium may interrupt gene structure and generate numerous mutants. The T-DNA caused mutants are valuable materials for understanding T-DNA integration model in plant research.

Multi-omics analysis reveals genetic architecture and local adaptation of coumarins metabolites in Populus

open access: yesBMC Plant Biology
Background Accumulation of coumarins plays key roles in response to immune and abiotic stress in plants, but the genetic adaptation basis of controlling coumarins in perennial woody plants remain unclear.

Human Brain Vasculature‐on‐a‐Chip Model Constructed With Microvessels Isolated From Cryopreserved Postmortem Human Brain Tissue

open access: yesAdvanced Healthcare Materials, EarlyView.
This manuscript describes the cultivation of viable microvessels from cryopreserved human brain tissue. When embedded in hydrogels and cultured in microfluidic devices, these microvessels exhibit complex architectures reminiscent of arterioles and capillaries, can be perfused, and display intact barrier function. Collectively, these results demonstrate
