Generalizing the proof for Sacks forcing, we show that the h-perfect tree forcing notions introduced by Goldstern, Judah and Shelah preserve selective independent families even when iterated. As a result we obtain new proofs of the consistency of i= u < non(N) = cof(N) and i < u = non(N) = cof(N) as well as some related results.

Protein restriction (PR) slows Alzheimer's disease (AD) in mice, and other benefits of PR are due to decreased branched‐chain amino acids (BCAAs). We show that restricting any BCAA has benefits, with sex‐ and BCAA‐specific impacts on pathology, molecular signaling, and cognition.

On the Origins of Toughness in Corymbia calophylla (Marri Tree) Nuts
We uncover the natural toughening mechanisms of the marri nut, including fiber pullout, crack deflection, and a viscoelastic matrix, which enable exceptional energy absorption and ductility comparable to Teflon, with an elastic modulus similar to acrylic.

This study established an RT‐MSCs‐based therapeutic approach for scleroderma in mice. RT‐MSCs attenuated fibrosis by regulating mitochondrial autophagy and restored gut microbiota homeostasis. Metabolomic analyses confirmed recovery of key metabolites, and RT‐MSCs demonstrated favorable lesion targeting and safety profiles.
