Turbo trellis-coded spatial modulation
2012 IEEE Global Communications Conference (GLOBECOM), 2012In this paper, a turbo trellis-coded spatial modulation (TTCSM) transmission scheme is proposed. In trellis-coded spatial modulation (TCSM) scheme, the information bits used to select the transmit antenna index are encoded. In order to increase the performances of the TCSM scheme, a parallel concatenated encoding scheme can be used. Therefore, the TCSM

Phase ambiguity resolution in trellis-coded modulations
IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1990A rotation detection algorithm for solving the phase ambiguity problem in trellis-coded modulations is proposed. This algorithm is simple to implement and may be an efficient alternative to rotationally invariant codes. Its performance has been investigated by simulation and appears promising. >

Turbo Trellis-Coded Differential Chaotic Modulation
IEEE Transactions on Circuits and Systems II: Express Briefs, 2018In this brief, a novel turbo trellis-coded differential chaotic modulation (TTC-DCM) system is proposed, where parallel concatenated trellis codes are combined with the ${M}$ -ary differential chaotic shift keying ( ${M}$ -ary DCSK) scheme.

The performance of trellis-coded modulation
TENCON'92 - Technology Enabling Tomorrow, 2003Trellis-coded modulation (TCM) in an 8-PSK (phase shift keying) scheme is more power efficient than uncoded QPSK at the same spectral efficiency on perfect coherent detection. For the same signal-to-noise ratio (SNR) of phase reference, the sensitivity to phase offset for 8-PSK is more serious than for uncoded QPSK.

Trellis-coded M-ary orthogonal modulation
Proceedings IEEE Symposium on Computers and Communications, 2002We have introduced the trellis-coded M-ary (M=32) 4-dimensional (4-D) orthogonal modulation scheme. Here, a rate 4/5 convolutional encoder generates one of 32 possible symbols every T seconds. Then the signal mapping for 32 symbols is performed by a M-ary 4-D orthogonal modulator.

Power Allocation in Concatenated Trellis Coded Modulation
IEEE Transactions on Wireless Communications, 2008In this paper, power loading algorithms are presented for limited diversity fading channels with channel state information at the transmitter. Limited diversity channels are those that offer moderate levels of diversity (about 3-5) such as those encountered in orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (OFDM) based indoor wireless networks.

Decoding algorithms for noncoherent trellis coded modulation
IEEE Transactions on Communications, 1996Noncoherent decoding of trellis codes using multiple-symbol overlapped observations was shown previously to achieve close to the coherent performance. Optimal decoding by the Viterbi algorithm for L-symbol observations requires a number of states which grows exponentially with L.
