TRELLIS CODED MAPPING FOR PEAK TO AVERAGE POWER REDUCTION IN SFBC MIMO OFDM SYSTEMS

open access: yesICTACT Journal on Communication Technology, 2016
Space frequency block code orthogonal frequency division multiplexing (SFBC-OFDM) systems has inherit drawbacks of high peak-to average power ratio (PAPR) signals, and constellation shaping with trellis is a promising approach for reducing both peak ...

Trellis-coded multidimensional phase modulation

open access: yesIEEE Transactions on Information Theory, 1990
A 2L-dimensional multiple phase-shift keyed (L*MPSK) signal set is obtained by forming the Cartesian product of L two-dimensional MPSK signal sets. A systematic approach to partitioning L*MPSK signal sets that is based on block coding is used. An encoder system approach is developed.

Performance of OFDM: FSO Communication System with Hybrid Channel Codes during Weak Turbulence

open access: yesJournal of Computer Networks and Communications, 2019
The performance of orthogonal frequency division multiplexing- (OFDM-) based free-space optics (FSO) depends on various parameters such as number of subcarriers, base band modulation, nature of laser beam, turbulence modelling, and much more.

Construction of Signal Sets From Quotient Rings of the Quaternion Orders Associated With Arithmetic Fuchsian Groups

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
This paper aims to construct signal sets from quotient rings of the quaternion over a real number field associated with the arithmetic Fuchsian group Γ4g, where g is the genus of the associated surface.

Helper Data Schemes for Coded Modulation and Shaping in Physical Unclonable Functions

open access: yesIEEE Open Journal of the Communications Society
We consider the generation and utilization of helper data for physical unclonable functions (PUFs) that provide real-valued, Gaussian distributed readout symbols.

Zernike Moment-Based Spatial Image Steganography Resisting Scaling Attack and Statistic Detection

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
The mainstream adaptive steganography algorithm is difficult to resist scaling attack, and the anti-detection performance of the algorithm based on quantization index modulation is not high enough.

Distributed Joint Source-Channel Coding-Based Adaptive Dynamic Network Coding

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2020
Distributed Source Coding (DSC) schemes rely on separate encoding but joint decoding of statistically dependent sources, which exhibit correlation. More specifically, Distributed Joint Source-Channel coding (DJSC) is associated with the scenario, where ...

Distributed Sequential Coalition Formation Algorithm for Spectrum Allocation in Underlay Cognitive Radio Networks

open access: yesIEEE Access, 2019
In this paper, we study the resource allocation problem, including the joint consideration of user grouping and power allocation, of an, underlay cognitive radio (CR) network employing non-orthogonal multiple access (NOMA), which is referred to as the ...

NEW COMPUTER GENERATED-SCMA CODEBOOK WITH MAXIMIZED EUCLIDIAN DISTANCE FOR 5G

open access: yesIraqi Journal of Information & Communication Technology, 2019
Sparse code multiple access (SCMA) is one of the Non-Orthogonal Multiple Access (NOMA) that attracts many researchers for its promising future uses in 5G systems. In this paper, a Computer Generated-Sparse Code Multiple Access (CG-SCMA) is proposed.
