Equation of state of a Fermi gas in the BEC-BCS crossover: a quantum Monte Carlo study
We calculate the equation of state of a two-component Fermi gas with attractive short-range interspecies interactions using the fixed-node diffusion Monte Carlo method. The interaction strength is varied over a wide range by tuning the value $a$ of the s-

Sequence determinants of RNA G‐quadruplex unfolding by Arg‐rich regions
We show that Arg‐rich peptides selectively unfold RNA G‐quadruplexes, but not RNA stem‐loops or DNA/RNA duplexes. This length‐dependent activity is inhibited by acidic residues and is conserved among SR and SR‐related proteins (SRSF1, SRSF3, SRSF9, U1‐70K, and U2AF1).

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

Correlated Gaussian method for dilute bosonic systems
The weakly interacting trapped Bose gases have been customarily described using the mean-field approximation in the form of the Gross-Pitaevskii equation.

We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Solitons in optical metamaterials with anti-cubic law of nonlinearity by ETEM and IGEM
Background This paper studies soliton perturbation in optical metamaterials, with anticubic nonlinearity. Methods Two integration approaches, namely, the extended trial equation method (ETEM) and the improved G’/Gexpansion method (IGEM) are presented ...

Kohn-Sham calculations with the exact functional
As a proof of principle, self-consistent Kohn--Sham calculations are performed with the exact exchange-correlation functional. Finding the exact functional for even one trial density requires solving the interacting Schr\"odinger equation many times. The

OPTICAL SOLITONS IN BIREFRINGENT FIBERS WITH FOUR{WAVE MIXING BY EXTENDED TRIAL EQUATION METHOD
This paper obtains optical soliton solutions in birefringent bers that are studied in presence of four-wave mixing. The extended trial function scheme is the integration algorithm that is applied.

We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...
