Exact solutions of perturbed stochastic NLSE with generalized anti-cubic law nonlinearity and multiplicative white noise

open access: yesResults in Physics
The paper retrieves the perturbed stochastic nonlinear Schrödinger equation in magneto-optic waveguides with generalized anti-cubic law nonlinearity and multiplicative noise in the Itô sense.

Exact solutions of nonlinear Schrodinger’s equation with dual power-law nonlinearity by extended trial equation method [PDF]

open access: yesWaves in Random and Complex Media, 2014
In this paper, we acquire the soliton solutions of the nonlinear Schrodinger's equation with dual power-law nonlinearity. Primiraly, we use the extended trial equation method to find exact solutions of this equation. Then, we attain some exact solutions including soliton solutions, rational and elliptic function solutions of this equation by using the ...

An analysis of the practical DPG method [PDF]

open access: yes, 2011
In this work we give a complete error analysis of the Discontinuous Petrov Galerkin (DPG) method, accounting for all the approximations made in its practical implementation.

Stability and collective excitations of a two-component Bose-condensed gas: a moment approach

open access: yes, 1997
The dynamics of a two-component dilute Bose gas of atoms at zero temperature is described in the mean field approximation by a two-component Gross-Pitaevskii Equation.

Cell wall target fragment discovery using a low‐cost, minimal fragment library

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
LoCoFrag100 is a fragment library made up of 100 different compounds. Similarity between the fragments is minimized and 10 different fragments are mixed into a single cocktail, which is soaked to protein crystals. These crystals are analysed by X‐ray crystallography, revealing the binding modes of the bound fragment ligands.

THE SOLUTION TO THE EQUATION OF THE SHOCK WAVE BURGERS IN THE PTC MATHCAD ENVIRONMENT

open access: yesСовременная наука и инновации, 2022
The system of equations of ordinary differential equations is integrated by means of the Euler computational scheme, and the step size is maintained small enough that the errors associated with numerical integration are negligible in comparison with the ...

Equation of state of a Fermi gas in the BEC-BCS crossover: a quantum Monte Carlo study

open access: yes, 2004
We calculate the equation of state of a two-component Fermi gas with attractive short-range interspecies interactions using the fixed-node diffusion Monte Carlo method. The interaction strength is varied over a wide range by tuning the value $a$ of the s-

The (Glg)ABCs of cyanobacteria: modelling of glycogen synthesis and functional divergence of glycogen synthases in Synechocystis sp. PCC 6803

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We reconstituted Synechocystis glycogen synthesis in vitro from purified enzymes and showed that two GlgA isoenzymes produce glycogen with different architectures: GlgA1 yields denser, highly branched glycogen, whereas GlgA2 synthesizes longer, less‐branched chains.

Numerical solutions of a class of second order boundary value problems on using Bernoulli Polynomials

open access: yes, 2013
The aim of this paper is to find the numerical solutions of the second order linear and nonlinear differential equations with Dirichlet, Neumann and Robin boundary conditions.

Organ‐specific redox imbalances in spinal muscular atrophy mice are partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotides

open access: yesFEBS Letters, EarlyView.
We identified a systemic, progressive loss of protein S‐glutathionylation—detected by nonreducing western blotting—alongside dysregulation of glutathione‐cycle enzymes in both neuronal and peripheral tissues of Taiwanese SMA mice. These alterations were partially rescued by SMN antisense oligonucleotide therapy, revealing persistent redox imbalance as ...
